FIRST LOGO
STARBUCKS
I LIKE THIS LOGO BECAUSE I LOVE COFFEE PLUS I FEEL LIKE ITS UNIQUE AND I FEEL
LIKE THERE’S A STORY BEHIND IT AND ITS SOMETHING RELATING TO THE SIREN.
IN FACT THERE IS A STORY BEHIND IT.
Let’s
go all the way back to 1971, to when Starbucks was first coming to be. In a
search for a way to capture the seafaring history of coffee and Seattle’s
strong seaport roots, there was a lot of poring over old marine books going on.
Suddenly, there she was: a 16th century Norse woodcut of a twin-tailed mermaid,
or Siren. There was something about her – a seductive mystery mixed with a
nautical theme that was exactly what the founders were looking for. A logo was
designed around her, and our long relationship with the Siren began.
SECOND LOGO
COCA-COLA
I LIKE THIS LOGO BECAUSE IT HAS A NICE AND UNIQUE CURSIVE
FONT
THIRD LOGO
VOLKSWAGEN
WELL THIS IS A CREATIVE WAY OF COMBINING 2 LETTERS WHICH IS THE INITIALS OF THE COMPANY, VOLKSWAGEN. ITS HAS A SIMPLE AND EASY TO UNDERSTAND YET CLASSIC LOOK.
FOURTH LOGO
NIKE
I LIKE THIS BECAUSE IT IS THE SIMPLEST A LOGO CAN GET. WHO
KNEW A SIMPLE RIGHT TICK CAN REPRESENT A COMPANY INTERNATIONALLY SO WELL. INTERESTING FACT: NIKE IS THE GREEK GODDESS OF VICTORY.
FIFTH LOGO
APPLE
I LIKE THIS BECAUSE ITS JUST AN APPLE WITH A BITE ON IT BUT
YET ITS SO INTERNATIONALLY KNOWN.
